GoToMeeting vs Live Meeting vs DimDim vs WebEx Meeting Center vs Convaq ASAP vs Raindance vs iLinc vs Skype vs Yugma Review
Webex Meeting Center
Webex Meeting Center (formerly MeetMeNow) costs $375 per month, or $995 /month for the pro version. Participants need to install a Java app, and it runs on Windows and Mac's. Attendees need to run Windows, Mac or Linux.
Microsoft Live Meeting
Microsoft Live Meeting is the old school guy, evolving from the basic live meetings integrated with windows. It runs on Windows, but attendees (not hosts) can also use Mac OS.
Convoq ASAP Pro
Convoq ASAP Pro will let two people use the software free, or 15 users in a meeting at $249 a year. It runs on Windows, and attendees need Windows or Mac to use the Flash client.
Raindance Meeting Edition
Raindance costs $274.95 a month for unlimited use, and runs on Windows using ActiveX.
Adobe Connect
Adobe connect supports 15 people or less, or unlimited with Connect Pro.
iLinc
I haven't come across iLinc much, but it appears to be a custom solution.
DimDim
DimDim is an open source meeting platform, which is great if you run Linux.
Yugma
Another open source platform.
Skype
Skype is a nice cheap tool for holding video conferences, but isn't designed for buisiness meetings.
Glance
A very new player.
hi,
by the way there is another player, the 321meet, that is also designed for business online meeting and there is no trial version because it's FREE and you can also have chat, screen sharing, remote access without installing or downloading anything because it is totally web-based.
I would suggest you to check Bankle Online Meeting application. It is one of the best web based online meeting application that provide all the features which DIMDIM is providing.
